THE AFRICA TIMES | KENYA — Kenya has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing collaboration with Indo-Pacific nations to address maritime security challenges. These challenges include rising threats from piracy, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well as other forms of organized maritime crime.

Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Kipchumba Murkomen, emphasized the importance of stronger international partnerships. He stated that these alliances are essential for safeguarding global sea routes, protecting vulnerable populations, and supporting economic growth.
