According to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), One Ton was estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old. As one of the few remaining super tuskers, this elephant was distinguished by its exceptionally large tusks that nearly reached the ground.
Big Life Foundation co-founder Richard Bonham announced the elephant’s death on the organization’s Facebook page. Preliminary assessments suggest One Ton died of natural causes, with no indications of injury or human interference.
