THE AFRICA TIMES | EGYPT — Egypt has launched a promotional mission in Nigeria aimed at attracting more international students to its universities. This initiative also seeks to expand the export of educational services, as Cairo aims to enhance its presence in African markets.
Details of the Initiative
The mission operates under the “Study in Egypt” initiative, running from August 24 to 30. Events are scheduled in major cities, including Lagos, Abuja, and Kano.
Organized by the Egypt Expo & Convention Authority (EECA), the initiative collaborates with the Supreme Council of Universities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s Central Administration for International Students, as well as the Egyptian Commercial Service.
