THE AFRICA TIMES | SOUTH SUDAN — South Sudan Supreme Airlines clarified its operational status on Tuesday, refuting reports that indicated the airline had announced the resumption of flight operations.
During a press conference in Juba, the airline’s proprietor, Ayii Duang Ayii, stated that the recent communication only referred to the successful completion of a technical assessment on its CRJ-100 aircraft. He emphasized that this should not be misconstrued as a declaration of resumed commercial operations.
Duang asserted, “The company wishes to clarify that there has been no resumption of flight operations. The communication previously issued by the company referred solely to the successful completion of a technical assessment of the CRJ-100 aircraft.”
