THE AFRICA TIMES | KENYA — Sagana Industrial Park in Kirinyaga County approaches commissioning, following a favorable assessment by a multi-agency team of national government officials. This visit aimed to verify the project’s progress and identify any remaining gaps.
Assessment and Progress Report
This assessment occurs shortly after the government mandated that County Aggregation and Industrial Parks (CAIPs) with over 90 percent completion be expedited for operationalization. Kinguru Wahome from the State Department for Trade led the multi-agency delegation.
During the visit, Wahome reported that the team is impressed with the progress at Sagana Industrial Park. He indicated that the level of achievement had risen from approximately 82 percent seven months ago to around 94 percent today.
