THE AFRICA TIMES | KENYA — Hundreds of Grade 10 and Form One students benefiting from this year’s Elimu Scholarship Programme have been urged to avoid drug and substance abuse. They were also advised to resist negative peer pressure that could jeopardize their education and future prospects.

The learners received encouragement to seek guidance and assistance when facing challenges, rather than turning to drugs or negative influences. During the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JKF) Annual Achievers Summit at Garissa High School, JKF Garissa County Coordinator Nelson Oloo emphasized the importance of setting clear goals and making responsible decisions.
