EGYPT’S CARGAS EXPLORES NIGERIAN MARKET
THE AFRICA TIMES | EGYPT — Egypt’s Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Cargas) is exploring entry into the Nigerian market. This initiative aligns with Cairo’s strategy to expand its petroleum-sector companies across Africa and share its expertise in converting vehicles to compressed natural gas (CNG).
A Cargas delegation recently visited Nigeria to identify opportunities that would bolster the country’s CNG use in transportation. The visit aimed to contribute to national projects focused on developing this vital sector, as stated by Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
Strengthening Regional Cooperation
The delegation’s visit followed directives from Egyptian Petroleum Minister Karim Badawi. He emphasized the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation while seeking new opportunities
