Security Consultative Meeting in South Sudan
South Sudan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Santino Deng Wol Chok, convened a consultative meeting with senior military officers from the Nuer community. The discussion focused on improving security in conflict-affected areas of Jonglei, Upper Nile, and Unity states as violence continues to destabilize the Greater Upper Nile region.
Context of the Meeting
The one-day meeting took place at the SSPDF General Headquarters in Bilpam on Saturday.
