The Central Equatoria State government has issued a strong denial regarding allegations implicating Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony in illegal land-grabbing activities. These accusations gained traction on social media, prompting an official response from government representatives.
Derick Derickson, Press Secretary in the Office of the Governor, characterized the claims as “baseless and politically motivated.” He asserted that the allegations aimed to tarnish the reputation of the state leadership and undermine ongoing land governance reforms.
