THE AFRICA TIMES | EGYPT — Egypt and Burkina Faso are actively pursuing enhanced bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, security, and development. Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty made these remarks during a joint press conference with Burkina Faso’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation, Karamoko Jean Marie Traore. This event took place after discussions at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
Abdelatty noted that relations between Egypt and Burkina Faso have gained significant momentum. This development reflects both countries’ political commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation and encouraging greater engagement from the private sector.
The discussions primarily focused on enhancing political, economic, and security collaboration, in alignment with directives from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Burkina Faso’s President Captain Ibrahim Traore.
