Morocco Trade Union: New Leader Appointed

Rabat – The 7th national congress of Morocco’s trade union has appointed Khalid Alami Houir as the new Secretary General of the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT).

The national congress took place from November 28-30. Houir succeeds Abdelkader Zaer, who led the CDT since November 2018.

New Leadership at the CDT

Khalid Alami Houir has been appointed as the new Secretary General. The appointment occurred during the 7th national congress of Morocco’s trade union.

Houir expressed satisfaction following his appointment. He also commended the success of the congress held in Bouznika.

Commitment to National Causes

Houir reaffirmed his commitment to activism. He stated that the CDT will remain a strongly committed national trade union.

The union will continue to defend the country’s causes and the rights of the working class. The CDT aims to address social issues seriously.
