The National Youth League of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-in-Opposition (SPLM-IO) has issued a formal call for disciplinary action against Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, the Minister of Public Service. This demand is in response to alleged threatening remarks he made regarding suspended first vice president Riek Machar Teny.
Allegations Against Gatkuoth
Gatkuoth, known for his criticism of Machar, reportedly threatened that Machar would “die in jail” unless he was not present in Juba. This statement raises serious concerns about political tensions in South Sudan.
