Minister Urged to Prioritize Public Service Reforms
The Minister of Public Service and Human Resource Development, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, faces criticism for his recent focus on social media rather than essential reforms in the public service sector.
Civil society activist Wani Michael contends that the minister has neglected vital responsibilities, particularly regarding the delayed payment of civil servants’ salaries and systemic inefficiencies within government institutions.
Concerns Over Salary Delays
“Hon. Ezekiel Lol should ensure civil servants’ salaries are paid promptly. He has become a busybody of late on unnecessary issues,” Wani stated on Saturday.
