People Living with Disabilities (PLWD) in Migori have been asked to visit the County Referral Hospital. They will undergo assessment to potentially receive free wheelchairs.

Fredrick Otieno, the Doctor in Charge of Physiotherapy, spoke at the Migori County Referral Hospital (MCRH). He announced a partnership with the county and the Walkabout Foundation to host a Wheelchair Service Week.
The initiative is designed to address mobility challenges in the region. The Walkabout Foundation is an international charitable organization.
The organization provides free wheelchairs to assist PLWD and others facing mobility issues.
