Sudanese Armed Forces Regain Strategic Control
DAMAZIN – The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have regained control of the strategic areas of Sirkum and Mugaja in Sudan’s Blue Nile State. This development reverses some territorial gains previously made by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its ally, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu, according to security sources.

“The army has retaken Sirkum and Mugaja and is currently securing the areas,” stated one security source in Blue Nile, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the information.
