Cabinet Reshuffle by President Kiir
JUBA – President Salva Kiir of South Sudan has implemented a cabinet reshuffle, transferring Michael Makuei Lueth from his position as Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Dr. Wek Mamer Bol has been appointed as the new Minister of Justice.
The announcement came via a Republican Decree issued on Thursday, which took immediate effect. This reshuffle follows a meeting held at J1, where President Kiir encouraged Makuei to expedite the review of significant pending court cases.
