Re-establishment of Kimotong Local Government
The Governor of Eastern Equatoria State, Louis Lobong Lojore, has officially re-established the Kimotong Local Government Administrative Area. This initiative has garnered significant support from Buya/Laarim youth, who view it as a pivotal advancement for governance, service delivery, and regional development.
This announcement occurred during a courtesy visit from a delegation of Buya/Laarim youth to the governor. The youth expressed their appreciation for the decision, describing it as a historic achievement for their community.
According to a statement from the Governor’s Office, the youth commended Lobong for restoring the administrative area. They believe this move will strengthen local governance institutions and accelerate socio-economic progress in the region.
