Owning 100 hectares of land is a dream for many Kenyans. Devoting that land to animal feed production is an even bolder venture.

This is exactly what Mr. Githaiga Kihara accomplished after he closed his printing business in Nairobi a decade ago.

Transformation from Printing to Farming

Today, Kihara expresses gratitude for this unconventional decision. During a visit to his farm in Chorong’i village, Nyeri Central sub-county, workers were busy preparing Napier cuttings for sale.

Workers at Kihara’s farms engage in either harvesting Napier cuttings or preparing fodder for local sale and export.
