THE AFRICA TIMES | UGANDA — Uganda’s coffee exports rose nearly 47% in the 12 months through October 2025, generating a record US$2.4 billion in export earnings. This surge was driven by higher shipment volumes and strong international prices, according to the Ministry of Agriculture’s latest monthly coffee report.
Export Statistics
The report detailed that Uganda exported 8.4 million bags of coffee between November 2024 and October 2025. This represented a significant increase compared to the 5.8 million bags worth US$1.3 billion during the same period the previous year.
