THE AFRICA TIMES | SOUTH SUDAN — JUBA – The Inspector General of the South Sudan National Police Service, General Said Chawul Lom, has assured the public regarding the deployment of security forces across the country. This initiative aims to ensure peaceful celebrations for South Sudan’s 15th Independence Day anniversary.
Comprehensive Security Measures
Speaking in Juba, General Lom detailed that police and other security agencies have implemented extensive security measures. They are fully prepared to protect citizens and maintain law and order throughout the festivities.
“We are ready and have made preparations at the level of states and administrative areas,” he stated. “The police forces and other security agencies are prepared to provide protection for the celebration and to address any challenges that may arise during or after the Independence Day celebration.”
