Accusations and Concerns
Monyliak stated that the attack followed a series of confrontations in Wunkur during the past week. He accused SPLA-IO forces of attempting to reclaim the area. He described Wednesday’s assault as an effort to “retake Wunkur County.”
Monyliak further cautioned the public against spreading unverified claims. He emphasized that those uninformed about the situation were spreading misinformation.
