Invigilators should perform their duties impartially. They should avoid assisting students during the exams. Diing urged invigilators to avoid illicit activities. Revealing exam content is not acceptable, he noted.
Promoting Educational Integrity
Diing emphasized the desire for Northern Bahr El Ghazal to demonstrate educational strength. This happens when learners test their understanding honestly. It is crucial to avoid any behind-the-scenes actions.
He highlighted the need to assist students when possible. Some candidates will travel from distant areas to reach the centers. They will stay there for a week before returning home for results.
Addressing Past Exam Irregularities
Past examinations faced issues like “Machot.” This refers to providing prior knowledge of exam content. While this increased scores, it led to poor performance later. The issue affected colleges and universities.
