THE AFRICA TIMES | KENYA — Nairobi, Kenya – Kenya’s Acting Deputy Director-General of Foreign Service, Mr. Abdishakur Hussein, on Monday hosted Qatar’s Ambassador, H.E. Mohammed Mutair Al-Enazi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nairobi. Strengthening Bilateral Relations Discussions focused on strengthening trade and investment between Kenya and Qatar. The meeting also covered migration of skilled labor. It highlighted opportunities for Kenyan nurses and teachers in Qatar. Focus on Economic Cooperation Both parties explored strategies to expand economic cooperation. They aim to create beneficial opportunities for both nations. Mutual prosperity remains a central goal. Skilled Labor Migration Discussed Kenya seeks to provide skilled professionals to Qatar. Qatar requires qualified individuals for their growing sectors. This partnership could boost both economies. World Chambers Federation Summit 2025 Mr. Hussein updated the ambassador on the WCF Summit preparations. Kenya will host this event in Nairobi from April 9-11, 2025.
