THE AFRICA TIMES | CHAD — Chad and the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) have finalized a financing agreement of €110 million. This funding aims to bolster government projects, particularly infrastructure and trade development, thereby enhancing cooperation between Chad and the continent’s leading trade finance institution.

The agreement was signed in Cairo by Chad’s Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation, Tahir Hamid Nguilin, alongside Afreximbank President George Elombi. Recent statements from Chad’s Financing Ministry affirm the significance of this partnership.
The financing is anticipated to support projects outlined in Chad’s government budget, with a primary focus on infrastructure enhancement and initiatives designed to foster trade and economic activity.
