THE AFRICA TIMES | EGYPT — Egypt is intensifying its strategies to assist domestic companies in expanding into African markets. The government aims to eliminate regulatory barriers, enhance access to financing, and establish stronger connections between Egyptian enterprises and African development institutions.
Government Commitment to Support
Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, who also serves as Egypt’s governor at the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), underscores the state’s commitment to bolstering Egyptian companies. This support is crucial for those operating or aiming to invest in Africa, achieved through coordination with African governments and institutions to tackle procedural and regulatory challenges.
His comments were made during a dialogue with representatives from Egypt’s private sector, alongside BADEA Chairman Fahd Al-Doseri. This meeting is part of a series focused on enhancing collaboration among the Foreign Ministry
