THE AFRICA TIMES | ZIMBABWE — Africa Trade and Distribution Company Limited (ATDC), a subsidiary of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), has signed agreements to establish national trading platforms in Zimbabwe and Malawi. This initiative aims to strengthen African value chains and enhance intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Agreements Signed in Egypt
The agreements were formalized in Alamein, Egypt, during Afreximbank’s Board Meetings. These agreements create National ATDC Zimbabwe and National ATDC Malawi through joint ventures with local partners.
Partnerships with Local Firms
National ATDC Zimbabwe will partner with CBZ Agro Yield, a subsidiary of CBZ Holdings Ltd. Conversely, National ATDC Malawi will collaborate with Press Corporation
