THE AFRICA TIMES | EGYPT — In collaboration with the North Africa Office of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Egypt’s Foreign Affairs Ministry concluded a three-day workshop. This initiative aims to facilitate the expansion of Egyptian businesses into African markets under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Workshop Overview
The workshop involved over 80 participants, which included representatives from various sectors. Attendees ranged from companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), business associations, and chambers of commerce, to government agencies and U.N. organizations.
Sessions focused on critical topics such as trade rules, rules of origin, certification procedures, and market access.
