Humanitarian Crisis in Sudan’s El Obeid
THE AFRICA TIMES | SUDAN — An international humanitarian charity organization has issued a grave warning regarding the deteriorating conditions in El Obeid city, situated in North Kordofan. Families face dire consequences from drone strikes while simultaneously grappling with extreme hunger.
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and its partners report that the increasingly besieged city is under the threat of drone attacks and rising anxiety about a broader offensive by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
