Medical Services Principal Secretary (PS) Dr. Ouma Oluga noted that Kenya’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic exposed the risks associated with overreliance on imported vaccines. Delays in accessing vaccines during the global crisis underscored the urgent need to build local manufacturing capacity.
