Rabat – Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc announced that flights scheduled to and from Dubai today were canceled due to the war between Israel, the US, and Iran.
In a post on X, Royal Air Maroc announced the cancellation of flights AT246 and AT247, pledging crew efforts to continue monitoring the situation to ensure a safe resumption of operations as soon as conditions allow.
“Passengers whose flights have been canceled are kindly requested not to go to the airport, and instead to contact their original point of sale to check available options,” the Moroccan carrier stated.
The airline also encouraged passengers to check the status of their flight and update their contact information through its official website.
In addition to Dubai flights, the airline also canceled flights from and to Doha through March 15.
The war between Israel, the US, and Iran has entered its ninth day. Today, Israeli forces claimed Iran launched missiles toward Israel, and “defense systems are working to intercept the threat.” Further details as to the location of these missiles and the damage have not been confirmed.
Israel also continues its offensive campaign targeting Lebanon, in which forces have killed at least 394 people, including 83 children.
Additionally, at least 1,130 people were wounded due to the Israeli attacks.
Gulf countries, meanwhile, are condemning the ongoing Iranian attacks. The UAE said four people – Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh nationals – have been killed since the initial US-Israeli strikes on Iran prompted Tehran’s retaliation campaign.
UAE reported it has been targeted with 238 ballistic missiles, 1,422 drones, and eight cruise missiles.
