Funding Details and Category Breakdown The total prize fund stands at US $5.9 million. Each of the five categories will award US $1 million to the winners. These categories are Health, Food, Energy, Water, and Climate Action. High school projects from six global regions can secure funding. They can receive up to US $150,000. This funding helps to materialize their innovative concepts. Impact and Reach of the Prize The Zayed Sustainability Prize has made a significant global impact. Since 2008, it has aided over 400 million people. This support spans across more than 150 countries. The prize recognizes impactful solutions. These must address pressing global issues. These solutions must also improve lives tangibly. Judging Panel A panel of global sustainability leaders will assess the submissions. The panel includes dignitaries like Iceland’s former President, H.E. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson. Also, UAE Cabinet Members H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and H.E.
